Supporting students in transition has been Jessica’s life work. Jessica is a certified Ontario Teacher who holds qualifications in guidance counselling and co-operative education. She earned her Masters of Education from OISE focusing her work on access to post-secondary education. In her current role as the Student Transition Manager of the Office of Student Transition at the University of Toronto Mississauga, Jessica and her team provide supports for incoming and newly admitted students that support student success in transition, retention and persistence to graduation.

Community Development Coordinator, Department of Student Housing & Residence Life - University of Toronto Mississauga

Delores Lanni is a Community Development Coordinator in Student Housing at the University of Toronto Mississauga. She completed her BSc at Western in 2005 followed by a Masters of Divinity at the University of Toronto. She is an advocate for building strong communities through dedicated leadership and passion.

Michelle Dittmer

Michelle Dittmer

Co-Founder, Canadian Gap Year Association

Michelle is an Ontario Certified Teacher and holds a B.Sc. from McMaster in Biology, a B.Ed. from the University Of Ontario Institute Of Technology and a M.A. in Leadership from Royal Roads University. She has taught students from grade 4 through college and has extensive experience in the Educational Travel Industry. She has worked with youth through Me to We and Free the Children and is passionate about young people finding what makes them happy and what makes the world a better place.
