Prior to joining eCampusOntario, Dr. Porter previously served as the executive director of BCcampus.ca, where he led a team that developed an online learning service organization that has become a model for Canada and internationally. He was also the project leader for the Task Force on Flexible Education at Simon Fraser University (SFU), where he managed a university-wide process over an 18-month period to define the strategy, infrastructure and support systems to allow SFU to expand the reach of its academic programs.
